I created this version of a classic Frida Kahlo self-portrait as I’ve long wanted to paint her as a cat. Frida was sleek, sensuous, beautiful, independent, and strong– all very feline traits. I elected to turn her into a cheetah as I have a silly sense of humor that often comes out in my work. I hope you appreciate my “Cheetah Kahlo.”
